“We bought two of these coops last year.. we have 19 hens, and 3 roosters, we use them for "nesting" coops.. We have a very large coop that the chickens "sleep" in at night.. They are let out in the mornings, and the door on the big coops is closed.. they run around, eat, drink,, etc,, then they use these Formax coops for nesting. Late afternoon we collect the eggs, and shut and lock the doors on both of the "nesting" coops.. and open the door to the large coop for them at night. This keeps the laying nests nice and clean, right along with the eggs. Now, we are going to be getting another 20 hens, and will be ordering one or two more of the Formax coops..”

“It arrived in a box very manageable manner to Unpack, move and lift It to designated area for assembly. My teenage kids helped with assembly. Pieces were well labeled and only a couple pieces needed a firm whack to lock in place. It took about an hour to put together, but much of the time was taking inventory and familiarizing ourselves with all the pieces. No other tools needed. The daily upkeep maintenance has been easy to clean and use. The only issue so far is that my chickens are getting so big, I don‚Äôt see how this would accommodate 8 chickens. I would say 5-6 at the most fully grown chickens. I haven‚Äôt been able to get 8 in there at one time now that they are older. I had to remove the perch bars to make more room. For this reason I knocked a star. I may need to get a larger coop.”
