“Love this coop! I am using it to house four Buff ducks, and it works wonderfully. Since ducks are messier than chickens, having a structure that is easy to clean is essential. The only modification I would make relates to the base; the base sits on 4 feet that are recessed. After removing the trays, I hose the coop to clean the manure off the sides. The recessed holes filled with wire, and I am thinking I can fill these four recesses with some non-toxic material in order to facilitate cleaning.
The scoop is simple to build, attractive, and I couldn‚Äôt be more pleased with my purchase.”
“I purchased this coop after researching it and comparing to wooden coops. This was a little more expensive than I'd really wanted but it was easy to put together. We built a base for it and attached it to the run we built. So far holding up great. The chickens like it too.
The narrow door for cleaning out the bottoms hinges was drilled too close, forcing the side to bow and the roosting stick in the middle to fall down. My husband drilled the opening of the latch a little larger and it seems to have fixed the problem.”
“Hello I guess I thought it would be bigger construction was ok but really to small for my needs ...I think I will try to sell it ...but I still like doing business with your company”
“Coop assembled in minutes. I built the stand using directions from the Formex website, and about $20 of lumber. The Hentronix automatic door was a fairly easy upgrade, as well.”
“This chicken coop was easy to assemble, easy to clean and our chickens love it. Most of the day they spend in their chicken run, but at night they love to settle in inside the coop. In the morning, there are eggs. Excellent customer service, too!”
“This coop is very sturdy and super easy to assemble. The only struggle was that it didn‚Äôt ‚Äúsnap‚Äù in a few places without me having to push down on the outer piece to get it to fit. But, it was easy to do and the whole thing was put together by me (45 year old woman) with zero help in less than two hours.”
