“I think this is too small for 8 chickens. Maybe 4-5 would be more realistic. But it was easy for me to put together and move by myself. I don‚Äôt know how predator proof it will be but my chicken run will be pretty solid when finished.”
“Friends, we recently ordered the Formex chicken house and have been very impressed with it. It is easy to assemble, comes with everything you need and it's big enough for 4-6 larger chickens like Rhode Island Reds in my opinion. My only complaint is that a couple of the panels did not snap in until I trimmed the edges with a razor knife. This was not a big deal and I didn't take away any stars because it was harder to open the well packaged house than to trim the panel edges! We assembled our house and chose not to attach the roof so we could use it as a chick home while our little peeps grow up. It works GREAT for this! easy to clean, keeps them warm, happy and safe. This is a really nice house. I've raised backyard chickens for about 15 years and wish I had a house like this a long time ago. I think it's worth the money, I hope you do too and that you enjoy it as much as we are with our new little flock this year.”
“I ordered this 4weeks ago got a shipping confirmation e-mail for the coop a week and a half ago, and only got the automatic door delivered. Called twice, one person said it was shipped with the door and was probably a day or two behind. The second person said, it didn't ship (even though my box is clearly marked box 1/3), and would be shipping in a couple days. I ordered it in the 2-3 week shipping period, am now at the month mark, am out over $700 for a lost or possibly never shipped coop depending on who you talk to. Would love to give this a higher rating, but my chickens are sitting in a tub that they are very quickly over-growing and I cannot afford to get them another coop because I spent all my money on the one that has yet to be delivered. I just want a straight answer for the product I ordered...I can't do anything with an automatic door without the coop!”

“Overall really this is great. I‚Äôd expect the bottom base to be a bit more thick, and they could spend a dollar more on decent carabiners. Fairly easy to put together. It is my first coop so hard to compare but i really do think it is a great coop that hopefully last a long time. Seems a bit pricey but I knew that and still bought it. Not disappointed”
