“My dog was a rescue and I was concerned that he may not have had all the nutrients he needed, particularly as he was going to be a big dog. Chose this after a lot of research. So happy with it. He has developed well, his coat is so shiny that I get asked often about what I feed him. I feel confident that his health has been built up by this food. The biscuits are quite small so I bought a special feeder dish that slows him down. Perfect.”
“After fobbing off the breeders recommendations I started looking at the content of foods and the value (in quantity needed) to work out the best value per meal to choose what to feed. This food won hands down! Yes, the breeder was right.
I like the fact that the food has very little in the way of fillers, allowing you to feed less than the foods at animates or the supermarket. He has been on this from the start and has no wind issues and his coat is fab!
My only suggestion would be for different flavours, to maintain interest.”
“Good value and nutritional but with the hot weather Cody sometimes leaves it for an hour or so and I have to put it in a treat ball for him to eat it.Maybe if I had another dog it would be different !!”
“My White Germ Shep loved this food, BUT it set his skin on fire, he couldn't stop scratching! I have treated him for fleas so I know its not that. Within a few days of taking him off the food he stopped itching. It also gave him really bad gas!
A shame because this food is good value and great quality.
If you dog is prone to itchy skin I would avoid this product.”
“I started on this food as was recommended for Bulldog puppies due to lack of additives, natural food and highest rating on recommended dog food advisor. http://www.dogfoodadvisor.com/dog-food-reviews/acana-dog-food-dry/ Have not been disappointed as my bulldog loves it, I love it is all natural and keeps him healthy and issue free. Definitely recommend Acana and will change to their adult food when he is old enough .”
