Edit they sent me another 2L free of charge and I thickly coated my high contact areas (wasn't able to do the entire lot as I still ran out but I don't think it's a huge issue) and it works much better. Only reason now I'm 4 stars not 5 is the large beads still get absorbed because my couch is a chunky weave fabric and they didn't say theirs works best on fine weave. That said still happy I spent the money on it”

I am sorry to hear that you haven't been happy with how protectME has performed and we do offer a 100% money back guarantee, but is it ok I ask you a few questions?
Can I ask what material your couch is?
What fabric is your dining chairs and how big are they?
Did you use the whole 2L container?
Did you treat the whole couch? (Back, sides, both sides of the backing cushions and both sides of the seated cushions?)
Do you have a photo you can share of both the dining chairs and couch?
We usually recommend applying 100ml of protectME per m2 of fabric for most fabrics per coat. Please note that some fabrics will require a second coat — usually thicker/more absorbent fabrics such as rugs, linen, cotton or loose weave fabrics. This second coat can be applied within 30 mins from the first with another 100ml per M2.
Based on this ratio, our 750ml bottle will cover about 7.5m2 of fabric and our 5 litre container will cover 50m2 of fabric.
Just for reference, If you were to treat a standard 3 seater couch and you were to treat the whole couch, we would normally recommend a 2L big job pack with the battery sprayer for one coat.
The coating should last 2-3 years depending on traffic.
