“Disappointed. Has only covered two thirds of what it should have. Had to apply two thick coats as the first coat didn’t repel the liquid and the water soaked straight in. Fabric isn’t a super heavy weave either. I wouldn’t have spent the $250 if I thought it wouldn’t cover my whole couch, buying a second 5L bottle would mean I’ve spent as much as a new couch. Still waiting for the second coat to dry so hoping it has now worked on these at least.”

I am sorry to hear that you haven't been happy with how protectME has performed and we do offer a 100% money back guarantee, but is it ok I ask you a few questions?
Can I ask what material your couch is and how many seater is it?
How much product did you use of the 5L's bought? Do you have any left?
Did you treat the whole couch? (Back, sides, both sides of the backing cushions and both sides of the seated cushions?)
Do you have a photo you can share?
We usually recommend applying 100ml of protectME per m2 of fabric for most fabrics per coat. Please note that some fabrics will require a second coat — usually thicker/more absorbent fabrics such as rugs, linen, cotton or loose weave fabrics. This second coat can be applied within 30 mins from the first with another 100ml per M2.
Based on this ratio, our 750ml bottle will cover about 7.5m2 of fabric and our 5 litre container will cover 50m2 of fabric.
Just for reference, If you were to treat a standard 3 seater couch and you were to treat the whole couch, we would normally recommend a 2L big job pack with the battery sprayer for one coat.
