“I picked up the blemished 3.5 Gallon RinseKit PRO and honestly—it’s one of those pieces of gear you don’t realize you need until you have it. The biggest win is the pressure. This thing pushes a legit ~50 PSI, so it actually feels like a real rinse not one of those weak gravity drips you get from most portable setups. After long hikes, beach days, or even just rinsing gear, it’s clutch.”
“Thought I was getting a killer deal but I guess I bought a damaged unit RinseKit. RinseKit said on there advertisment of this...
"The refurbished PRO is a fully functional RinseKit with all parts intact. There are minor blemishes or cosmetic issues, but other than that the units are in like-new condition. Due to the nature of these products, quantities are limited and are on a first come, first served basis. NOTE: These units are non-returnable and not covered under warranty"
But the unit I purchased the voltage meter DOES NOT WORK SO IT'S NOT FULLY FUNCTIONAL!. I sent them pictures and video of this and they have not responded with a fix.
In their instructions on the product it says...
"Battery Maintenance: It is advised to recharge the unit when the battery voltage drops below 10.8V and to avoid dropping below 10.5V to prevent damage"
So how do I know what the voltage is if the gage does not work? What damage will happen? Will it catch on fire? No idea. Always wanted one of these and jumped at the chance when I saw this as I could care less about a cosmetic blemish.
There is also a hole in the back of it and they said this is for drainage? I took this full to the beach in my Jeep and when I got there, water was leaking out of the hole and got everything below it wet. I feel like a sucker for buying this.
RinseKit, I waited to do this review, hoping you would make this right. I sent 2 emails, 1 with the pictures you requested and no response on what you can do?”
“Amazing product! Easy to use, great for any outdoor activity. I use it for cooling when running races and training to hose off so that I can cool myself off in the middle of events.”
