Which kit components were the most impactful and why?
The Maori words to learn alongside the vegetables/animals etc. Rich oral language and engaging. We played the game in buddies that allowed cooperation and team work to complete the challenges. Then once all lego was open, they enjoyed creating their own farm and playing with it as much as possible, including before school :)
What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners?
Team work, sharing, respecting others, oral language, connections, farming ideas, animals and te reo words for animals are used frequently.

How important is it to you that classroom resources are made from recyclable materials and are reusable?
How did the context of farming allow your learners to explore and develop literacy?
Oral Language was enhanced, learning more te reo vocabulary. Talking, listening, collaborative work, speaking and sharing ideas. The game was fun and engaging with the different components, too.
