'O' was able to make new friends as he played with the Lego, directing others around him, negotiating with others, and having an opportunity to share with others, via his words and actions, who he was and what sort of freind he would make
Which kit components were the most impactful and why?
The base board allowed for a defined 'work area' and lessoned the spread of the lego all over the show.
What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners?
Certainly for 'O', it allowed him a secure, safe environment to start the school year in a new class. The collaborative 'play' aspect of the kit allowed 'O' to get to know his fellow classmates better in a low stress way.
