The farm kit and components really engaged our children. We are a learning through play class so this was put out as a provocation. The children were keen to practice their te reo words, and were quick to build/invent things.

The lego is amazing and my 5 year olds had a great time building it. Lots of communication and discussions to get to the end result. The game was far to hard though for them to play.

Children were absolutely thrilled to be able to open up the boxes and make up the Brick farm...many had bits and pieces at home previously however no-one had all the pieces and could construct it all as one set - I had other Lego in class - however I put all of that aside and kept the kit together and all our children in our syndicate could choose to come in and play farms - many children added in toy animals and tractors and other vehicles - then they wanted to build other Lego buildings to extend.....one kit was not enough for the enthusiasm!!! Thanks so much for supplying this kit - it was a real hit - unfortunately all the photos were lost when my phone was dropped into the water trough this week - so sorry no photographic evidence is available!

My class LOVED the bricks farm unit. We started off with a general brainstorm about what is a farm. We then opened the kit and had sooooo much fun making the Lego. It was a great starting point as the bricks had many farming aspects to it, orchards, farm equipment, animals etc. The unit was so hands-on which my class particularly enjoyed and now the unit is finished, we still have the bricks to play with

The children loved building with the bricks and a lot of imaginative play came from it. A huge amount of oral language development happened as children played with the equipment. Building was challenging at times which taught lots of resilience, problem solving, making/remaking, and collaboration.
