How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? It was a bit too much for some of my year 3 students. We talked about perseverance and resilient in a simple way.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? Each morning and afternoon, the kids share their feelings and we discussed how to move forward.
“Kids loved the charging station and sharing their feelings. Some of my year 3s found the booklet a bit hard and too much to reading for my ESOL kids.”

How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? Students were able to identify strengths and areas to work on. This kit was powerful tool to help them identify these gaps without being told.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? Having their own little booklets was helpful as there was something we could both refer to during one to one conversations. The students were able to focus on their own personal habits and growth and the language used was clear and thought-provoking.
“This is a great kit! It helped the students develop a more reflective approach to their everyday. I wish we could have finished using the kit, but unfortunately, Covid-19 got in the way of that. I will keep the kit in my class and hopefully bring it out again later this year. Thank you!”

How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? Tbh I haven't had the time to fully use the kit I have felt rushed with the get nz writing, resilience covid and ⁸now the water kit.
“I feel like so.e of the content was great however some of the smaller activities were hard to get through. Pmus with a difficult time if year covid. Made it even more difficult to get through thoroughly.”

How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? Communicating with students is vital. This has allowed students to be a bit more open and explain how they are feeling.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? Even though we were not able to complete the kit the components were attractive and the student were keen to be involved.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? The students were beginning to be more confident with communication.
“Unfortunately I was unable to complete this kit due to COVID-19 lockdown. The work was more difficult than I thought but the responses of the letter that was sent to parents was valuable for the students.”

How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? The children loved using the tokens and filling in a sheet to let me know exactly how they were feeling.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? We used the charging station as activities during our reading contact but for the first couple of weeks back in class after lockdown, we used the activities daily and had lots of discussion about things.
“We started this kit before lockdown but then it went on hold! What a great resource to come back to school to this term! The children loved using the materials such as filling in their booklets and also using the cards during the day. We used the tokens as the children entered the class as these were in place by the class door. I cleared these just after I had taken the roll and this gave me a great idea about how they were feeling and who I needed to check in with. What a great kit and the timing could not have been better!”

How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? The booklet was very important for students to find out where they were. Although some students in the red because they had not auctioned some of the things in the book, therefore having to fill red form. Some of my happier students.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? Communication has always been great with my students. The kit wasnt the main reason for discussions. My students come to be regardless of the kit.
“It would've been great to have a example to how this should look up on the wall. Students were able to work on this display independently through the week. Great that the teacher can talk with students in the red.”
