How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? Helped them understand what confidence means and how it affects us as humans and our well being. Students are able to be more supportive towards peers to help lift them up and also can acknowledge how we can be better people and friends to others.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? The children learn't that even adults suffer from low confidence and self esteem. They feel more comfortable having discussions with me now and we can talk through their emotions now they realise they are not alone.
“I enjoyed this but found my students didnt grasp the learning as i expected. Mixture of reasons possibly timing and disruptions and teacher delivery meant this kit wasnt given the justice it deserved. I have learn't lots in the process and look forward to doing it with the older students i will have next year.”

How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? The discussions were great and students gained confidence when talking about topics they usually avoid

How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? Some students have become more self-aware about triggers and emotions that impact them, and finding ways to recharge and resume has been beneficial. Managing emotions tied in with the Zones of Regulation neatly.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? Some students were able to share with us on a deeper level because of some issues raised during some of the sessions. The booklet was well put together and enabled conversation starters, which then lead on to good discussions in small groups and individua

How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? Unfortunately, we will not know how well this will work until Term 1 2022. I hope I will be able to do another review then.

How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? the charging station was difficult to use as we have some students who were very reluctant to share where they were, also with such a large class (several combined with one kit)
“We used the kit with year 4-6 students as the kit was intended, but it kind of morphed as we worked through it to a ";Celebrate our differences"; unit. The students really enjoyed the unit and I will definitely use it again.”

How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? Talking about selves and feelings, similarities and differences. Pre and post lockdown selves and promoting self awareness and self care in this post lockdown climate.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? I used parts of the kit / ideas during our online learning too and it gave us a tool and the shared language to 'check in' with students at home and monitor how they were going

Good to start getting my year 7s thinking about their mental health, self esteem and how they think and respond to others. Display was quite full on and beyond some
