Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them It was good to share how we felt at the start of the day. I liked getting a letter from my Uncle in South Africa, because I haven't seen him for a long time.

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? Special Adult letters, tokens, circles of influence, videos on how we see ourselves.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? YOu are not alone. YOu have people all around you who love you for the special things that make you, you.

“Loved the videos and the class discussion about the ways we see ourselves and our inner voices. That was powerful. The special adult letters and circle of influences were amazingly touching and super important to the heart of the unit. The batteries were also fun to fill in together as a class.”

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The charging station-and the attached cards- especially the "boost ideas" to support others

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? An understanding that they are unique and beautiful. An understanding of the importance of recognising and accepting emotions. Some strategies for self regulation.

“We weren't able to use the whole kit but have linked it into the Zones of Regulation and Hauora - the charging station in particular has been very helpful. Initially this worked very well but more recently the student engagement hasn't been as high. This would be better to try again at the start of the school year with more work being done learning how to use and understand the shrink/boost cards.”

“I asked for the unit as I was 1:1 teaching a young student with wellbeing needs every day. The kit didn’t really provide what I thought I could use so I gave it to one of our classroom teachers in Year 4-5. They found it helpful.”

Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them This gave me the confidence I needed to believe in myself. I enjoyed learning about my own mantra (based on an adaptation of the activities in this kit).

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The zones of regulation and the area that we had created to allow students to have their own space.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? Each student came up with their own mantra and this will lead them into their own futures.

“The confidence kit gave the students in my classroom an idea of putting themselves in someone else's shoes whilst also keeping the values and morals that they held as important high. We were able to introduce levels of regulation and talk to each other about how we felt and why we felt that way too. I would highly recommend this for a team building classroom environment.”
