“My students really enjoyed the booklet that comes with this kit. I love that they could do it in the 10 minutes after they came in from break so they were busy when I came back into class. They really thought about how they were feeling and the mood in the classroom has really changed.”

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The red cards which gave children a way to tell me what's going on without worrying about people overhearing and judging them.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? It's ok to not be ok.

Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them We have the kit displayed in a small breakout room and on their own, when they needed a boost, we have seen children go and pull out a card and read it. They have quiet time to process what the card says and if needed they can check-in with their teacher.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? Being there for one another and lifting people up.

How has this kit helped develop student resilience? When there are things said and done, they are learning to develop resilience to not let it affect them so much and be confident enough to seek help.

What impact has this kit had on your classroom community? It built our ILE of 3 classes into one unit where the students could approach all three teachers about things.

“It has been a very relevant kit to the year 7 & 8 students. At times we have pulled out scenarios and discussed them in small groups as to how we can build each other up and support each other. At this age we have found a few kids testing others or themselves for that matter and the kit has given us all an opportunity to be mindful and change mindset.”

Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them Student 1 - Mrs S, I am really working on being a good friend to others, helping them move from the yellow zone to the green zone. Student 2 - Mrs S, it really helps me to know you read my red card and can help me when I'm feeling challenged in my day.

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The check in station - students used this regularly when they needed to work through big feelings or when they wanted to help students move from yellow to red.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? That it is normal and ok to go through many different feelings in a day.

In what ways has this kit helped develop student confidence Students have become empowered to manage feelings and are showing more empathy towards each other.
