Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The charge station helped the students buy in from the beginning and got them excited about what it was all about.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? learned alot about themselves and their classmates.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? An understanding that they are unique and beautiful. An understanding of the importance of recognising and accepting emotions. Some strategies for self regulation.

“My class have benefitted a great deal from this resource. It has provided great opportunities for them to identify their emotions and, on a daily basis, check in with how they are feeling. It has provided a chance to privately let the teacher know how they are feeling, and given some strategies to self-regulate. I highy recpommend the resource.”

Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them 1. I never understood the importance of saying sorry. Now I know how it makes me feel but more importantly how it makes others feel. 2. I love the charging station and reminding myself that sometimes I need to ask for help and not always be the rescuer.

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The cards led to great discussion and the books were highly valued.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? Thinking about others, showing empathy and putting themselves in other peoples shoes. The most powerful thing we focussed on was saying sorry with sincerity, understanding 'why', and fixing what might have gone wrong. Everyone grew in confidence when they learned the effect their words and actions had on others for the positive.

In what ways has this kit helped develop student confidence People have got better at speaking up for themselves and realising that they do have a voice.

Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them 1. We liked looking at the pictures of the old people and not judging a book by its cover. 2. We liked the video of the two drawers and that the picture was so good to how the people described themselves.

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The family form was the most impactful, students read the letter constantly when they were feeling low and we had a lot of parent buy in.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? learning how to be more positive, using kinder words towards themselves.

“We enjoyed exploring the kit, and learning about ourselves and the connections we have not only in our whānau but also in our wider circle. We didn't quite get to the self-charging station, but the impact of looking at ourselves and exploring the videos has a powerful impact on the students. The best activity was getting caregivers to fill in the what they love about their child. The students kept it in their tray and many of them went and read it when they were feeling low and needed a pick me up.”
