What did you notice about student engagement in the learning with the DIY World Records Kit? The level of student engagement was high throughout this kit. There was lots of participation and contribution of ideas. High focus throughout.
Fantastic resource - the students really enjoyed coming up with interesting ideas to challenge themselves. We had an amazing collection of World Record attempts - hopefully some of them are genuine records.

Room 12 at Northcross Intermediate had a fantastic time creating and carrying out their own World Records. What an awesome opportunity to have students put their measurement skills to the test, in an engaging and FUN way!

What did you notice about student engagement in the learning with the DIY World Records Kit? Once children had a good grasp of how to set a world record they set some neat and fun records. They were all engaged in the task and it has motivated them to read some Guinness World Record Books
A great idea and resource! I did find it challenging to follow the tasks set and had to lease with another teacher in the school to make sense fo some of the activities. But overall, a neat resource, something fun and different to engage the children.

Students loved this kit! Authentic learning and so much fun! They enjoyed competing with each other and the physical aspect of the learning kept the active kids engaged. Great link to literacy too with the wording of their world records.

What did you notice about student engagement in the learning with the DIY World Records Kit? My students enjoyed reading about current world records. They loved having the chance to beat some actual world records. The human benchmark site was fun When it came to writing their own records, the process was easy to follow with the colour coded cards
Thank you for this awesome resource! The teaching guide was easy to follow with a range of fun activities. A couple of the links didn't work but we managed to find them via. google. It was great that we were provided with resources such as tape measures and stop watches and also the bunting and definition cards. I will definitely be repeating this kit again in future years now that I have the resources.
