How did the swapping of mail with another class add value to the GNZW experience? Great, all completed.
Hi, The resources and lesson ideas were great this year. The only feedback is I notice there was confusion about sending the colour poem to the other school, I didn't send mine as on the facebook page people said you didn't, so felt bad when I was sent one from the other school.

How did the swapping of mail with another class add value to the GNZW experience? I thought the swapping of writing OK
I felt the instructions weren't very clear and majority of Year 4's found it quite difficult. I will not be doing this again.

How did the swapping of mail with another class add value to the GNZW experience? The lead up was exciting and the class took a lot of pride in sharing their work with the other school. The only downfall was the quality of work we received from the other class. The students were bummed out about the words they couldn't read and didn't
Fantastic planning - I really enjoyed having links to resources that could be used. This cut down the amount of time spent looking for suitable supporting resources. The poems were fantastic and I now have plenty of ideas to move on with and apply in our next poetry unit.

How did the swapping of mail with another class add value to the GNZW experience? It motivated them to take part and gave them a sense of purpose and camaraderie. They were excited to look up the other school and see what it looked like. The class loved sending the package off and waiting for their package to arrive. When it did arrive
I thought the children would find the poem quite hard to do but they really embraced the challenge and enjoyed finding words for their object. They also enjoyed filling out the class sheet. The little tin of objects was also a great motivator and captured their interest immediately.

How did the swapping of mail with another class add value to the GNZW experience? As I said above, great to swap with another class as it gave a real audience and a purpose. We unfortunately did not receive the entire puzzle which meant there were missing pieces for displaying it.
Loved the concept of it and how it was shared with another class somewhere - gave the children an audience and a purpose. It was a little too difficult for my Year 3 and 4s, some of the more capable year 4s managed well and LOVED IT!
