How did the swapping of mail with another class add value to the GNZW experience? Children were delighted to read what others had done with the poems. Getting post was very exciting - a novel experience for many!
Students loved the collaborative poetry writing process and we were inspired to do our own colour poems which were great. The poem in a box activity was good fun and wonderful for vocabulary building.

How did the swapping of mail with another class add value to the GNZW experience? Made it real and having a post date to work towards gave us urgency to get finished and to a high standard because there was a ";real"; audience.
Excellent resources and planning for the set tasks. Like how it was a totally different set of activities to last year.

How did the swapping of mail with another class add value to the GNZW experience? I like this and we spent a little time learning about where the school was and a little about it from their website. The kids would have loved to find out more about them.
The students were mostly very enthusiastic about this kit. Some parts were a little trickier and it took longer than I thought it would to complete this kit well. All in all, it was another great kit to participate in and there was so much valuable learning.

How did the swapping of mail with another class add value to the GNZW experience? We enjoyed reading the postcards and poster but, disappointing that the postcards received weren't coloured in as my year 3 class had spent time colouring in theirs. The poster was all written in capital letters. The overheard conversation on the poster w
Maybe not match a Year 3 and Intermediate class together. Reasons are as follows.
