In what ways has this kit improved students awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? Students more aware of vegetables as part of healthy eating and were keen to be responsible for growing their own. An awesome resource which completely motivated and engaged everyone in my class from day when our large package arrived. The application forms for membership and postbox was a great introduction. From there everything was well set out and presented and easy to follow. We had a lot of fun and are looking forward to seeing what happened to our plants over the holidays. Each child took theirs home. Many of them now had extra pots planted through the New World promotion.

In what ways has this kit improved students awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? We are still at the growing of our seeds and discussing the variety of things avalible. The learning within the Little garden kit was great. The children were engaged from the start of the learning journey till the end. The children have taken their individual plant home to take care of over the holidays and keeping in touch via Seesaw about how their plant is going. As 'growing/ life cycle of a plant' was our Inquiry learning it was linked into other curriculum areas. The little garden league Kit was a great learning tool to support our learning and the children enjoyed the whole process.

Little Garden League was Lots of fun for us at Otama school! We love getting out in the garden and into the fresh air so to be a part of the Little Garden League programme was perfect for us. The junior class enjoyed becoming apart of the garden group and receiving their badges which they took very seriously! At Otama school we also potted extra seeds which we are planning on selling to our families for a donation to the school so the children can hopefully take their gardening knowledge and enjoyment home as well. We thank you so much New World for your support with this initiative and Gore New World for their visit to us out at Otama School with the garden.
