In what ways did this kit give opportunity for cross-curricular learning? We completed art images, writing, we really enjoyed the codes which were integrated as part of our reading rotations and literacy work.
What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? When our seedlings have grown, we can learn how to add them to our garden. Little Garden League was Lots of fun for us at Otama school! We love getting out in the garden and into the fresh air so to be a part of the Little Garden League programme was perfect for us. The junior class enjoyed becoming apart of the garden group and receiving their badges which they took very seriously! At Otama school we also potted extra seeds which we are planning on selling to our families for a donation to the school so the children can hopefully take their gardening knowledge and enjoyment home as well. We thank you so much New World for your support with this initiative and Gore New World for their visit to us out at Otama School with the garden.
