What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? There are plenty of future links across the curriculum. The codes relate to maths and the digital technologies curriculum and our continued work on our school gardens.

In what ways has this kit improved students awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? I heard new vocabulary being used and they all gave new veges a go on our last day.

What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? My class started to negotiate exchange their crops and making recipes for what we could make :heartbeat::heartbeat::heartbeat:

In what ways has this kit improved students awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? We went through all the seeds and discussed what we liked, wanted to try etc

“My class we very excited to crack the codes and plant the seeds. We have Garden to Table at our school which I felt gave us an advantage because they already knew a lot about gardening. The school holidays are a little concerning because we will have to decide if the seedlings stay at school or go home. Many of my students have started their own little gardens”

What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? continuing to grow our plants in the school garden, eating them and cooking them! Making recipes, experiments...so much to take from this and extend on!

In what ways has this kit improved students awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? Children were able to learn about and name vegetables they've never seen or eaten before!

In what ways did this kit give opportunity for cross-curricular learning? Children learned about plants. We talked about growing times and why plants took longer and how many days in a week. We wrote about them.

What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? Planting them in a school garden and then cooking them.

In what ways has this kit improved students awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? They learnt about different types of vegetable and what a Herb was.

In what ways did this kit give opportunity for cross-curricular learning? Science, literacy (we were making up our own codes for other participating classrooms), Health and PE (aligned with Garden To Table).

What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? We are in the kitchen next term so they will be able to harvest and eat!

In what ways has this kit improved students awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? The children were researching their vegetables and their nutritional values.

“We had so much fun with the build up, the introduction, the pledge and coding. Not to mention the veges!! Very easy to implement, it was hands on and engaging for the children. This kit fit in with our Garden to Table programme perfectly.”
