Used in written language - writing about their plant, Science talking about the parts of the plant eg: sstem, seed, roots, leaves, stalk etc Maths = how high their plant was bigger, smaller, taller etc
What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit?
We will be growing more vegetable plants in our school garden. We have planted sunflowers as well to look at the growth of these plants. We will be weeding, composting and working with a worm bin to recycle food/paper waste etc.

TThey have learnt the names of a lot more vegetables and herbs. The health benefits of these and hhow to grow them.
