Each day, they came in enthusiastically to see if their plant had made any progress. The students all developed their knowledge of vegetables and edible flowers, and parents reported more willingness to try and eat vegetables at home. It was a fantastic resource. In what ways did this kit give opportunity for cross-curricular learning? Science as how does a plant grow. Maths -measurement Art -sketching in the kitchen garden.

What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? Next term we will study bees so its a natural progression.

In what ways has this kit improved students awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? WE have a kitchen garden with herbs etc growing so we were able to go down to the garden and see what their herbs would grow into. Some of the children's siblings are also in the garden to table club so they could see the progression.

“This was an amazing KIT. It was well thought out and at my class of 6 year old children very well. The activities such as the coding and short videos were excellent.The children hooked into the idea of a club and feel proud wearing their badges. We have linked it in with plants and healthy eating.”
