Absolutely amazing learning, creative activities and loved by the children (and their teacher). Really meaningful activities- the children loved the LGL story, photo, pledge badges and loved being members of the club and growing their own vegetables. My Year 2 class enjoyed breaking the codes and even made up their own codes.

In what ways has this kit improved students awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? It was not clear if it has made any difference although I have had a couple more with fruit for our afternoon fruit break time.
The students loved working with the kit but it was time consuming to fit into the day as it did not fit into our schools topic for the term. So far only 4 of our plants have grown but the students are still hopeful and enjoying watching them everyday.

My Year 0-2's have so enjoyed this SchoolKit and will do so into next year as we will continue to harvest our seedlings produce. The children have been so excited into the entire process and have created amazing stories about their vegetables and herbs. We look forward to tasting our crops. Thank you Schoolkit and New World, the entire process from gaining memberships, cracking codes, planting seeds and watching them intently has meant this is one of my most successful SchoolKits. Thanks to everyone involved.

In what ways has this kit improved students awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? Learning about new vegetables, allowing the possibility of trying new vegetables and herbs, being interested.
Amazing - my new entrants are so excited to be part of the little garden league! They have joined the club, planted their plants, are caring for them as part of the classroom group, and donned their badges to look for other little garden league members with pride. They are learning about new vegetables and herbs and we will do lots of cooking once the vegetables and herbs hit their potential! We already had a school garden so these have given us lots of food for thought about what could go into them. It's so nice to see the children are excited about trying new things, and the resource that was provided has helped to slowly raise motivation for getting involved and more importantly, getting inspired! Thanks so much for this.
