What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? As we are not to deep into the Little Garden at the moment. The learning is coming out of watching the plants grow at the moment. Also how seeds germinate...

In what ways has this kit improved students awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? As the plants have grown the children have realized that they are edible plants not flowers.

What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? We have establish school gardens and these plants are being used in the garden for the students to enjoy.

In what ways has this kit improved students awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? As we are a healthy eating school/class. this topic was great as it reinforced our beliefs of healthy eating healthy mind.

In what ways has this kit improved students awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? It introduced a range of fruit and vegetables - some the children hadn't experienced before - they loved the name the veges card game

In what ways did this kit give opportunity for cross-curricular learning? We used the resources in the kit to link in with our literacy program. We also did heaps of art activities connected to the kit.

What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? We extended the learning to include science activities about plants and insects in the garden.

In what ways has this kit improved students awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? We learned about new vegetables that some students had not heard of before.

“My students loved this kit! They were really engaged with all the activities, particularly the secret codes. The membership letter form was awesome and we loved the joke section! We have become so interested in gardening now that our whole term four has become a unit learning about gardening. We are hoping that some of our seedlings will be big enough to eat before the end of the year!”
