What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? We now have a class garden. We are looking forward to continuing this for many years to come.

In what ways has this kit improved students awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? We are willing to try different foods and are developing understandings of where our food comes from.

As far as our class is concerned we used simple learning such as counting the plants, working out how much water we needed to generate the potting mix. What future learning opportunities have arisen from this kit? If our plants survive and grow then we will brainstorm what we can do with the finished product. Research recipes, compare the type of vegetables and herbs we have grown. Eat our product

There has been no change really, as we have a policy of no junk food or drinks, as well as trying to eliminate plastic at our school. The school supplied every student with lunch boxes that eliminated the need to wrap food.

The children have learnt about a variety of different vegetables and have tried things that they may not have tried at home. Excellent for reinforcing the importance of eating vegetables through growing your own. Authentic!!

I was able to use the school kit to bring in some mathematics learning where the students had to complete a matching colour activity to apply to be a part of the little garden league. We were also able to use the application form as a part of our writing
