In what ways has this kit improved student awareness of nutrition and healthy eating? How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables? It had a great impact on most of my learners, some of them had never heard of some of the vegetables before and they were excited to see how many different kinds of vegetables there are.
This was such an amazing experience for my students! They were so engaged with learning about vegetables and how to plant seeds. Each morning they get to school they would race straight over to the window sill to check how their plant had grown. It created some great opportunities for students to help each other, and they enjoyed seeing whose plants were growing the biggest. I also had a lot more students bringing in vegetables for their brainfood snacks which was cool to see!

How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables? They were able to identify the main ones but was great for them to realise that there are different vegetables out there.
The Little Garden kits were great and the kids loved planting them. The teacher resources were fantastic too. Could there be some more digital resources to go with this next time? (QR codes, videos etc)

This kit is ok. The kids love the growing aspect. However there were alot of parts that could be changed. The badges are an unneccessary waste, the letterbox was not useful and VERY hard to set up. infact 2/3 teachers gave up. The whole kit could be completely slimmed down and just have teh plants. The card game was great.

This kit has been fantastic. We are a Garden to Table school but my NE class dobt get to participate much. This kit has meant that we could have our own little garden to plant and care for. Ngā ākonga have learnt so much about where fruit/vege come from, how to take care of plants and foods that will help keep them healthy!
