How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables? The game was fabulous and really engaging. I adore this kit and so do all the children in my class! They find it so relatable because it's something they do with their families and it links directly to our classroom gardens that we have. It's a fun way to get the desired learning across. The badges and instructions for this kit make it easy to implement and a fun way to teach health and healthy eating. We loved the vege game!

this kit is great. my esol students have a garden at school and have grown veges previously, so the little garden league kit has reinforced their learning, with growing and caring for vegetables. it has also given them the confidence to share their learning and experience with their classes.

How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables? We had a wall display of vegetable photos - so this greatly supported the program
An excellent and unique resource - all for free. The resource is very engaging and age appropriate for the years I teach. It is user friendly and exciting. It has novel elements which are captivating. My class loved the codes, they provided a different challenge and having successive ones - kept the interest high. I set up a display in a corner of my room - the banner, poster and letterbox made it colourful and intriguing. My class loved learning a vegetable joke. Folding the application form stretched them, we did it whole class step by step - a great achievement once done, rewarded by then being able to post it. The primary message is clear and consistent - Grow, Protect and Taste . The pledge card and badge had the WOW factor. The children love having one to own and this aspect ensures personal responsibility - their own commitment to the cause. Being part of a club also is unique for some. This gives a sense of belonging and a collective voice. Some of my class put them on their school bags - a bit of a trophy thing. The finale was planting their seed - what joy and wonder watching them grow. As it is school holidays I sent them home - I know they will be carefully watched over. The best resource ever!!!! Apologies - I have 17 cool photos but had difficulty loading them - I have JPG as the format maybe this isn't compatable?
