How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables? The children were all quite knowledgeable about vegetables but they were interested in the science of vegetables and what constitutes a fruit.
The children loved planting their seeds adn watching them grow. The growth was rapid so we ended up planting them in the school garen and some were repotted to go home. We also learnt all about beneficial insects in the garden and researched our vegetables. We made a 3D mural with symmetrical buitterflies, bees, a beehive, 3D collage vegetables and worms in the soil to show a healthy garden.
