How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables? We have only just began so we have a few under our belt! Im finding it hard to acess materials on each of the vegies. Is there a slide show/ posters that educate us on each vegetable?
What a fun, informative and hands on resource. The kiddos are absolutely loving getting their hands dirty and planting! We have 'secured our clubhouse', Planted our LGL and are working on the codes. This links so well to our Inquiry on GROWTH and links to our Local histories curriculum. We have only just dipped our toes into this but allready the class is loving the magic and story telling. Thank you for such a wonderful resource.

How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables? Not sure
It was easy for the students to plant up their pots as everything was provided. We had a roster for watering which they enjoyed. After several weeks they were spouting and we transferred them to a space in the school garden. Unfortunately some of them have been pulled up now either by birds or other students . Hopefully some will keep growing and we can harvest our crop

My class loved this kit. It introduced them to vegetables they had never heard of and they are now tending them in our school garden. We can not wait until they are big enough to harvest and to try them.

How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables? Limited. They played the game, but didn't find it overly engaging. I think once the vegetables reach maturity there will be more awareness on different vegetables.
A good little kit. The tamariki enjoyed planting their seeds and have loved watching them grow. The code breaker activities were lots of fun, really engaging the class. Unfortunately, our badges didn't arrive and by the time our seedlings arrived they were in the supermarkets which made some of the club activities a little harder.
