literacy, with new entrants we didn't do writing abound the characters as I have previously but we were able to use alliteration, etc to create vegetables.
measurement, etc for how much water to put in, health for handwashing when working with soil, etc.

Our kids have quite a range of vegetable they recognise but the LGL still had some new members for us to discover. Some older children who visited my classroom were also very interested in the LGL members' poster to see what was available.
