Children talked about converstaions they had had at home following planting, we encouraged trying different things and some students asked for this at home also. The children were very open to all trying what we have grown - we are not quite at this stage
How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables?
It was really interesting to see who could identify what vegetables to begin with, who had tasted what and thoughts around this.
The more we spoke about what we were growing and what we could do with each, the more understanding the children gained.
