This was a fantastic kit which captured my students attention straight away. They were excited to select what they wanted to grow and enjoyed learning about some new vegetables. We were very grateful to have a parent helper come in and help to plant up our seeds and students often went straight to their seedlings in the morning to see how theirs had grown compared to their classmates.

I was a bit disappointed that this kit was nothing new; it has been in the supermarket previously. I thought it would be something different. Sadly, someone put too much water into the growing punnets, so my class was not successful.

I always love the little garden kit. The kids have learned so much about planting, looking after the plants and are looking forward to seeing the end result. It has been an extremely busy year and the kids were happy to take time to look after their plants. They really enjoyed the story of the garden club and we used the vegetables for descriptive writing.

The class really enjoyed doing this kit. They loved looking for vegetable jokes at the start and getting their badges. We were able to get a whole lot more little garden plants from New World so each student planted 9 plants each. They then took these home over the holidays and looked after them before returning them to school to be planted into the school gardens.
