Planting the little gardens helped students become aware and understand how vegetables are grown (where they come from) and will help the students later in life when they have the ability to make healthy choices in their lunchboxes themselves and later on

There was a huge impact. Although some children hadn't heard of many of the different vegetables before, the visuals (stickers) and the 24 Founding Members Poster helped the students to identify vegetables.
