We had many lessons on the importance of vegetables in our diet. We even grew more vegetables in the school garden and have recently eaten lettuce, carrots and broccoli from the garden. Students were quite chuffed that they could grow popcorn.
How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables?
It was surprised to find out that some of my class could not recognise many of the vegetables on the cards. They were interested to watch the vegetables grow and identify them on the squad card.
