It allowed my students to be willing to take the chance of trying new things. By trying these things they are now more willing to have them in their diet. They often go out to the garden and snack on what is growing.
How successful was this kit in promoting student ability to identify vegetables?
This allowed the students to actually recognize quite a few vegetable they had never been exposed to. When finished all students were able to recognize most pictures of the plants. Having the characters made them more excited about identify it.
