How has this kit impacted your confidence in delivering the new Aotearoa NZ's histories curriculum content? Because it is OUR History, when I was at school we were taught everyone else's history but not our own. I am learning along with my students. I'm not just the teacher I am also the student and it is awesome.

Loved this kit, well put together thank you. The resources were meke. The challenges in these lessons opened up my students' eyes. They questioned their beliefs and values. Their critical thinking caps were humming.

How has this kit motivated you to explore the history or your local area? Could you use this model? We arranged for a local Maori leader to lead out seniors on a journey around our region to tell of more"close to home"stories. The kids loved the trip out and the stories and connections they made to their own backyard.

How has this kit impacted your confidence in delivering the new Aotearoa NZ's histories curriculum content? This gave me a starting point from which to teach. As an immigrant to NZ I am learning much of the stories and history myself as I teach it. I loved this resource kit.

What was the impact of knowing the stories in this kit were developed in collaboration with their iwi/whānau/community? As a teacher, the resources were perfect for leading the students in to a discovery of a world they knew little about. The stories were easy to follow for my students and me and opened up a world of questions and comparisons to today's world.

Our year 7/8 students loved this kit as it fit in perfectly with our Maori and Inquiry focus. They loved the resources, images, and stories particularly and actively engaged in investigating for more information on their own. I thought the pack was very well put together, making it an interesting and engaging subject to teach. Well done NZ School Kit for this amazing pack.

What was the impact of knowing the stories in this kit were developed in collaboration with their iwi/whānau/community? The impact of this kit was far reaching - our community engaged in a whanau evening to celebrate all the learning we did and it was standing room only. Many families were able to talk about their experiences coming here and they left the evening knowing a

Wow! What a kit! Not only did it spark interest and have a high level of engagement for my class but it also spread school-wide with the whole school taking part in a"Night at the Museum"community event. We were in the throes of developing our localised curriculum and this fitted in well. Students were fiery and passionate about topics to explore like the Black Panthers and new arrivals to New Zealand and how they were treated. They could link to their own family stories and build their understanding and connections with the kit. Once again, School Kit you have done yourselves proud. An outstanding kit that will be etched on the memories of my ākonga for many years to come.

How has this kit motivated you to explore the history or your local area? Could you use this model? This has motivated us further research the early Chinese settlers to our area - something that I was aware of but didn't know much about.

How has this kit impacted your confidence in delivering the new Aotearoa NZ's histories curriculum content? It was a great confidence boost - I didn't have to"know"all the answers and with this kit, there was no danger of getting the cultural narrative incorrect which is often a concern when you don't have the knowledge yourself.

What was the impact of knowing the stories in this kit were developed in collaboration with their iwi/whānau/community? We were lucky that we also had a Ngai Tahu exhibition running at our local Art Gallery/Museum at the same time so it integrated perfectly - the students were able to make connections which reinforced the accuracy of what they were finding out.

How has this kit impacted your confidence in delivering the new Aotearoa NZ's histories curriculum content? I just loved the connectedness aspect of this kit. It felt like you could dig deep, far and wide. The only challenge I had was staying on track and not taking the learning too wide as I personally found the stories and connected material fascinating.

I cannot praise this kit enough. I spoke about it at our Kahui Ako Culturally Responsive PD where we unpacked Tātaiako with primary schools where they created their own school framework on how to imbed the principals of Tātaiako into their schools. Many Kaiako had already got and were using this kit. ALL teachers praised it. I shared it with our local iwi leaders and they were impressed. I have used the kit in my kura when working 1:1 with students needing extra learning support.

We absolutely loved our Something Happened here Kit! What an incredible resource, it's so well put together and really designed to provoke thinking, discussion and learning. It is not just a once off wither I can see that this will become a permanent part of our resources available to the students for engaging thinking and discussion.
