How successful has this kit been in building the relationships between students in your classroom?

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? A lot of blossoming friendships have happened since taking part in the kit and the Play lunch project helped massively with that! A lot of children also stepped out their comfort zone asking others to play with them and try new things together.
How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? I saw a lot more sharing and kindness and students making sure everyone was involved, or at least asked to come and join in.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? We realised what respect is and what it looks like to each and everyone, and that it looks different in different situations. It gave us a massive boost of respect in the classroom and we were able to pick it back up after the second lockdown also!

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? Socialisation is a huge part of starting school, some fantastic ideas in this kit to promote this!
How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? Despite numerous lockdowns our class has really helped together this year. And are able to respect each other’s differences and views.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? Students have a deeper understanding of what respect actually means and what it looks like within a classroom setting.
“Find it hard to use for my students as they are special needs children. The kit looks too busy and too colourful for them to use. Digital kit would be helpful in the future. Teacher could print out and make them bigger, even combine them with other resources. Thanks.”

They learnt how to invite others to play or ask to play and words to use. We did some role play around how we could do this .

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? Positive relationships within the class and a lot more children being kind to each other. We have some ‘interesting’ students in our class but our children are very forgiving and helpful with these students.
How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? The playground stickers worked well. The battery has been good as children will look at it and see someone in the red so will ask them why they are there. Some new relationships have formed and the ‘clickiness’ that is sometimes there with groups of girls

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? The children know it`s okay to be uptight, sad, lonely. But it`s how we ask for help and see it in others to know how to speak to them to offer a listening ear.
How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? Now more than ever kindness and understanding is so important. It`s okay to still feel on edge ( even teachers do ) we have to be patient and considerate of others.

They were able to unpack in a conversation and with visuals actually what a respectful relationship is. It created a good discussion once they understood how to unpack it.
