How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? I think it has helped a lot. The class were able to settle down nicely after the lockdown.
How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? Was very relevant coming back after lockdown. Helped students create bonds and friendships they had lost.

“A great resource that we used later in the year to reinforce respect through a variety of learning. Thank you for letting us complete using this resource later in the year as covid put a stop on some things in the class.”

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? The children are now more conscious of what it takes to play peacefully with each other through the skills they've learned through the kit.
How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? The children are now much more aware of what it takes to be kind and tolerant. They resolve issues far quicker and with less drama.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? The playlunch activity highlighted that good choices enhanced relationships.
“Absolutely loved this kit. The children enjoyed the playground challenge and having to play with someone different. It was nice to see new relationships forming. It was also great as we had new students arrive just after lockdown. I have kept the battery up and children still come in each morning and place their counter in the colour they are feeling.”

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? I'm not too sure to be honest. It is something some children have and some still struggle with.
How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? I think it has been something that we can continually come back to. In many ways coming back post COVID and then going into it again being in Auckland, really disrupted many of the initial relationships built. It was like starting over trying to build up

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? It helped them to understand that even though they may have different ideas what they actually want out of most conversations is someone to 'listen'.
“Unfortunately the kit was really hard to follow. The resources looked awesome but there wasn't enough information/direction on how to use them etc.. We discussed this in a team meeting and the other teachers found the same so we were unable to use it correctly. It did however get us doing more relationship building activities and having those conversations with our classes which was great amongst the lockdowns this year.”
