How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? Another resource and lot of activities to support many of the things we teach already. This made it fantastic as it was another approach and another lot of resources - so resources that Ch had not already seen. Thanks heaps!

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? It has helped them to develop their social skills - the way they talk to their peers, the way they address and react in certain social situations, and got them beginning to understand that everyone is allowed to have different points of view.

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? The picture books suggested to go along with this kit were fabulous and have helped to enhance the children's relationships with each other but have also got them talking about specific events which happen out in the playground and in social contexts.

The children really loved discussing and sharing their ideas around the question cards. These were non-threatening and allowed them to share their own points of view. Again the questions were very current, authentic and age appropriate which meant the chi

“Room 5 really enjoyed this kit. It was fabulous timing as we began this after lockdown. The kids really enjoyed the playground project and charging their own batteries but also being aware of others that needed to be charged too.”

“Children participated in a range of cross-curricular activities to develop their understanding of emotions, empathy, respect, and kindness towards others. The open and honest discussions that took place helped all students to get to know their classmates better and understand what makes them tick. Many learnt to step out of their comfort zone and express their thoughts, feelings and opinions in a respectful way, as well as mix with others that they don't usually socialise with.”

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? Children are much more aware of the relationships within the classroom and how heir actons can alter these relationships.

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? Children that usually played alone had now been asked to join in on a game or had the bravery to ask someone to play with them!

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? We saw a lot more kindness and sharing. Kids were playing with older children but were able to say no if they felt unsafe in the situation.

“This box was helpful but came at a busy crazy time of the year with covid. I don't feel I got to execute it to the standard it deserved but some of the activities were helpful to restrengthen relationships after the covid interruptions.”
