How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? To a point, some children will always have difficulties.

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? Being able to freely choose their emotional level without fear of mocking or being judged help some of my boys. It made others aware of their emotions and made others think about how they can help each other.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? I have been lucky as this years class I had 2 years ago and they were aware of my expectations around respect towards each other. Parts of the kit just helped to highlight this.

“This kit was very helpful. The children really enjoyed getting to know the other children in their class. The passport and stickers motivated the children to get to know each other and they found it really enjoyable. The kit provided opportunities for the children to have engaging discussions about how they can interact in a positive way with others. This was really effective in bringing the class back together after lockdown. It is wonderful to see the children making positive connections with each other in a variety of ways. This has continued throughout the year and we will continue to utilise the skills and habits this kit has introduced.”

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? The children enjoyed having their own booklet and stickers which helped with them being more involved and taking more ownership for their learning/involvement.

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? The kids were keen to collect different stickers. This meant that they chose to hang out with different kids. Often they came back laughing about things they had in common.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? This has been ongoing into Term 3. The stories and concepts are easy to understand. Being able to 'charge the battery' has meant that all children have the opportunity to hear and see different examples of respect.

“Great kit once I got started. I found it a bit hard to find my flow but I think that was more about me than the kids. They loved the recharge station and noticing how they were feeling and being able to communicate it to others. We will continue some of the practices and language we have learnt throughout the rest of the year. I think I will do a better job teaching it a second time (new class next year) as I will have my understanding better and be able to delve into a deeper understanding. Thanks for all you do ! I love the kits”
