We have spoken with the children about Respect what it means/feels like to receive it and to be respectful towards others. The kit helped with their understanding and being respectful to others at home and school.

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? Most of our children can now identify how to fix problems and how to involve others in their play. There are still glitches - we ha e a new saying, mess up, fess up, fix up. They are working on the ownership of their problems.

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? Pur children know each other a lot better now. They know who to talk to about issues they are facing at home and at school. It made them aware they are not the only person facing some of the same challenges as each other.

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? Breathing is working for some children who (over)react very quickly in social situations. Thinking about questions has helped some children NOT take over in a group, but ask for others' opinions.

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? Enemy Pie has become a class favourite. As time has gone by the impact of COVID is becoming more apparent in the impact of individuals on the class as a whole. We talk a lot about respectful relationships, and dip into the resources provided.

It was great to have the resources all together. The podcasts gave the children visual examples. They particularly connected with The Dog Who was a Cat Inside, and the Strictly No Elephants Book. We did a lot

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? The students are now better understanding ways to engage with each other and what to do if things aren't working out. They now have a range of strategies to use when things aren't going to plan that thy can implement to keep calm.

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? Yes, we really focussed on noticing how others are feeling as this was an area that needed development within the classroom.

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? The kit has lots of great activities to develop good social behaviors and etiquette. I am looking forward to using the whole kit along with the syndicate next year as a good springboard for starting the year with a new classroom.

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? All our junior team members received the kit and have used parts of it. Next year we are going to be implementing it in our long term plan for the beginning of the year.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? Our NE come from a variety of backgrounds so we try and keep things very simple so all class members are on the same page.

“This kit sat at school during the Nationwide Lockdown. On return to school it was just what we needed. It gave us all the opportunity to think about the impact our actions have on others. It made children focus on peers outside of their immediate circle, which in Middle School is often quite limited. It gave a voice to children who had over time become observers rather than active participants in the classroom.”

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? They have developed more social skills.

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? I was able to put some of these activities out for the students to use during lockdown including videos from your website. This made this kit more accessible from home. It has also helped to build up those relationships back up again.

“This was a very well put together resource with lots of interactive and fun features. The children liked having their own cards that they put their stickers on. They enjoyed playing the games.”
