The passport helped them to think about playing with different children and noticing children who didn't have so many friends. They could talk about this but they still gravitated to their own friends in the playground. Part of being 5!!

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? The children realised that feelings can be communicated not only through words but through body language as well. They enjoyed and learnt from acting out feelings and were more aware of how others were feeling.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? The children learned to listen to each other through the programme and games. They understood the importance of taking turns and speaking to each other in a way that built relationships rather than caused conflict.

“Respectful Relationships School Kit was a fantastic kit to introduce and ignite new friendships and relationships in the classroom. The class were engaged and enjoyed the different components that were involved. I would recommend using this kit at the beginning of the school year and I will definitely be using this again next year!”

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? They have developed more social skills.

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? I was able to put some of these activities out for the students to use during lockdown including videos from your website. This made this kit more accessible from home. It has also helped to build up those relationships back up again.

Several students are very aware of where people are sitting on the battery and want to work hard to help people move up the battery.

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? Kids are good at looking at friendship problems and coming up with solutions. Some new friendships came out of the playground project.

“This was a great kit to come back to after the kids being away during lock down. It was great to pull out an activity that linked with things that they were going through or had seen in the media. During this time we also had a new kid start in our class that came from a troubled background and a kid who had come back from lock down completely different.
