How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? I have 3 students with no pro social behaviours our class became a safe environment for all. I definitely recommend for teachers struggling with behaviour management.

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? Students with undesired behaviours were now focusing on respectful relationships. All students celebrated good choices when incidents occurred.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? The playground was humming with student focus on being fully charged. The playground cards were an awesome reward system when returning to class after lunch.

“There were a lot of resources, but as a Teacher, I really appreciate a specific plan as to how to use the resources. Reading through the intended purpose and trying to figure this out is always tricky with the kits. Resources arrived on time.”

We made it a focus to learn about old-school games (board games and skipping etc) where taking turns, following rules and asking others to join in were important. In class this worked well but we realised at break times it was harder to influence the othe

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? We loved the Breathing to calm activities. We made it a priority to have time after each break to do some mindfulness and we talked about the medical reasons breathing was good for us.

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? Noticing how others are feeling has been an ongoing issue in my learning room. We are also working on mindfulness breathing.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? The students do realise that their behaviour impacts on others and also why they do what they do but at my students' level they often do not think first before taking action/s.

“This kit was a wonderful way to reconnect and build a caring and collaborative classroom culture. We had lots of discussion about being able to work with anyone in our class, not just our friends. We will continue to use the 'battery' metaphor as we reflect upon how we are feeling ourselves while also noticing how others are feeling too. Thank you!”

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? This kit was really useful in both helping students to think about their own prosocial behaviours but also recognising and acknowledging the prosocial behaviour of other students.

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? After the Lockdown, there were a number of children who were anxious, etc. and needed a bit of reminding about the ways we can show respect to one another. The kit was very useful for this.

“It was a little confusing with all of the different cards and sets of instructions: I wasn't sure at first as to which cards belonged to which activity. The ideas underlying the kit were excellent however and the children really responded to the play with people at lunchtime activity”
