Within a NE class these skills are still largely developing, and this kit has helped build structures and routines that help engage and regulate positive behaviour.
How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community?
At NE level it needs constant reinforcement to retain positive respectful relationships among all learners, but for the majority it has been very positive, resulting in a more fair and respectful way of treating each other.

There was lots of simple ways to convey the key messages of the kit through to younger students. Most NE arrive at school very egocentric and teaching social skills that require respect are all key parts of our learning in those firsts years of school, al
