How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? I was so busy caught up in dealing with behavioural issues due to social skills that I didn’t have time.
“The children really enjoyed this kit, we found it hard to complete and did the best we could through covid. They were really engaged and loved lots of the activities.”

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? Due to covid and not introducing the kit properly I am going to use it again in term 1 2021 when new relationships and friendships are being formed so feel i can not comment.
How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? I am going to use the kit again at the end of the year and again next year to help students build happy healthy relationships with their peers. I felt that there was a huge interruption due to Covid and i didn't get to the chance to delve into the kit lik

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? When it came to the stickers, children where very enthusiastic as to how many they could swap.
How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? It has encouraged children to be respectful of others. It maybe has not been responsible for creating new friendships but encouraging children to be friendly with each other. A lesson that I think is vital for children to learn.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? As stated above, we used the discussion cards as inspiration to write about. Each morning we would unpack a couple of the cards and then complete a writing activity based on the discussion and where it went - We got something great writing that was shared
“I found this good as it went well with the topic and books we are doing on resilience. There was a huge range of stuff in the kit so we really only touched the surface. We used it along side other material.”

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? It gave us good language to use and therefore a good understanding on how to build positive relationships and what these can look like.
“It was quite hard to intergrate with the juniors. The battery idea was ok but didn’t fIt in with our school tools so was a bit redundant. The quality of the products however are in very good nic. The impact of the whole thing on my class was ok.”

“The resources were easy to use and relevant to the learning. As an Auckland school we had disruption to the use of this resource, but it was great to come back to it after Level 3 lockdown.”

The coloured dots helped hugely in developing different relationships within the class and finding things they had in common with children they hadn't really played with before, great conversations were developed and I noticed a greater depth of relations
