How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? Yes - has helped develop this with my class.
“This pack was received unfortunately just a few days before we went into lockdown so I did not have time to begin this. Since lockdown, our school had our own processes in place to support children so have not started it. However, this reminder has encouraged me to open up the pack and check out what is inside. I am so impressed and gutted that I did not use any of these resources earlier. This will be a perfect way to end the term!”

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? The dot activity made the children very aware of who they were &; weren't playing with. The children are now playing together much better.
“The kit came at the perfect timing as the disjointedness of the year many that we were constantly talking about our bond as a class and how to keep us together as a tight unit. It provided emotional language which was lacking in some of the students and helped them to find the words to explain their feelings towards others”

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? Recharging their batteries everyday, and after each block allowed us to see how other people are feeling without having to voice it out loud.
How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? Students are learning how to respond to and respect how others may be feeling and that its ok to feel differently.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? As discussed above, it has taught the students how others may be feeling, and that it is ok to feel differently to others. Respect is one of our school values, so they have been able to reinforce their understanding of respect, while looking and thinking
“I did this as a very quick lesson given all the time we had off school because of lockdown. I found it very difficult to understand and my students did not get as much out of it as I thought. I think it would have been better suited to older children.”

“This was a fantastic resource in our junior classroom. There were a range of activities to suit each and everyone. This range was appreciated in my diverse classroom. The quality of the resources and products were of the highest standard - how great that this is a free resource! We have explored the topic covered in this resource throughout the year and it is great to be able to reflect on what was covered during the term. It was a great tool to help us cover this theme in the junior school.”
