How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? More thoughtfulness/awareness at break times.
How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? It is really hard to tell I'm sorry as lockdown had a huge influence and there was a lot of reflection on the time spent with families and then helping them not miss their families.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? The question cards created conversation and more thought in the playground. These sometimes needed to be re-worded so they were at the Yr 0 level though.
“It was so easy to implement - a great range of teaching ideas. The resources will be well used in my classroom, well after we have finished the kit.”

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? They enjoyed the battery and we identified what it would look like.
“Really enjoyed this kit with my year 2 class but due to lockdown and catch-up with curriculum teaching and learning, I feel the kit wasn’t utilised as best as it would of if not for lockdown. Year 2 students are very resilient and majority took something from it even if it was just understanding different points of view of respectful relationships. They mostly enjoyed the re-charge mat which had a direct impact on less thinking spot Time -PB4L.”

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? Pro-social behaviour at this age is on-going, it was refreshing to have a different perspective from this kit.
How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? Besides one student who has high emotional needs, this kit encouraged conversation between students around student well-being ie how unkind words can make them feel.

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? Children reminding each other; trying to show respect so that they can 'charge' the battery. We haven't started the playground project yet - that's next week - I know the children will really enjoy this and related well to it. Exciting!
How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? The class are very good at recognising respect. Respect is part of our school values and this school kit has been able to reinforce the concept in a more meaningful way for these 6/7 year olds.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? This is ongoing. The stories and the concepts have been readily accepted. Being able to visually and physically 'charge the battery' has meant that all children have the opportunity to hear and see different examples of respect.
“The children were really interested in this kit and it has tied in nicely with our use of the Zone of Regulation. This really help coming back post lockdown, helping the children to come together again.”
