How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? My students are more open and reciprocal to the social aspects of building relationships in and out of class. It’s cool to see the quiet ones are even adapting the seen behaviours.

How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? My students are learning daily how to make respectful relationships. They can and are initiating a lot of thinking around what kind of respect they would like so they will implement.

Before I received the kit I tried finding ways to model and explain what respect was and looked like, then we focused on what relationships are and how we could build them. Having the kit has allowed me to explain, express and demonstrate the information

“We have really enjoyed this kit. The playground project has been a real hit and it has been a great platform to help us discuss how we grow friendships. The story was easy for the children to relate to and the storytelling cards helped us to create our own stories. We have managed to incorporate drama and digital technology into the story telling process. The supporting material on the website is also amazing - so much to choose from.”

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? The play launch project was great to encourage a child with aggressive behaviour to make good choices. A teacher aide was able to use this as reward system to encourage positive behaviour on at lunch times and morning tea. It was an instant positive reinf

“I found this kit more confusing than normal as lacked clear instructions on how to run. Spent quite a bit of time chatting with colleagues about how best to use it. Worked well for returning to school after lockdown and loved the playground project.”
