How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? Working with arange of students across the class and extending friendship groups - The use of the working with everyone sticker booklet helped support this. Still a few more stickers to stick for the start of this term.

How have the components within the kit helped develop your students understanding of what a respectful relationship is? They have a good understanding. Putting into practise each day is on going. I have a pretty awesome class so the kit has supported what they already know. The battery was great in having everyone working together and seeing the good in each other.
“The battery charger and students' emotional self assessment each day has been great and the kids all love adjusting their feelings/energy buttons as the day progresses - its a great quick visual for me as the teacher to assess which kids may need a chat to see how they're doing as well. Of all the activities, the STEM cards were the most engaging and well received by my year 3/4's. We used these to enhance our group communication while students when jointly creating a single output. They would have been even better if there were a couple more options for each card type.”

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? It has made it a focus for the class - for them and for me. I am actively looking for and praising these behaviours.
How have the components within the kit influenced the relationships in your classroom community? I have noticed children responding positively to each other and showing greater patience and understanding. Several children are making a greater effort to include our students with diverse learning needs.

We have been able to talk about what it means with concrete examples from the story and poem- although the poem was more like what not to do. Perhaps a second more positive poem would be good too.
“I did not get to use the kit as I am now Principal. I passed it onto our new teacher i she thought it was great. It was introduced after lockdown.”

It has definitely helped our class to understand to importance of working as a team and has made students engage with other children they may never have engaged with before. I think the concept is great. I would have liked more in class time to implement,
“There was a range of things to use in the kit, some ideas were posted online to assist with the delivery. I found the kit resonably good to use at the lower level particulalry prior to lockdown.”

How has the kit helped to develop prosocial behaviours? It has helped immensely. It has given them strategies to deal with their own feelings and to recognise others' feelings.

“Lots of resources to support activities. This is my first one of these kits and I found it a little overwhelming. What am I doing with all these things? I think it might be good to have a little teacher booklet with a suggested sequence of activities.”
